Hi, I am Karen and I'm a fully insured, experienced, reliable dog walker and pet sitter. I have been walking dogs for over 20 years and decided in 2018 it was time to start my own Pet Services journey. I’ve always had a passion for animals and describe this as my dream job!

A little more about Walkies and Woofs

My walks are never with more than 4 dogs at any time and I also do solo walks if preferred. I run a pick up service where I will collect your dog from home, safely transport them to a local field, walk them for an hour and bring them home again (dry them off or feed them as necessary too). I am happy to walk any breed of friendly dog, no matter what size.

Did you know I also do Cat sitting...

I adore cats and have always owned both cats and dogs. There is something special about looking after a cat and it’s a privilege to hear them purr! I can do regular visits or even house stays for the right cat :)

Dog Walking

My aim is to make each walk the highlight of your dog’s day, giving them a chance to play, socialise and explore new sights and smells.

Your dog will be walked in a safe open space and will return home, happy and tired after fun and socialisation. I also provide fresh water, yummy treats and towel your dog off in wet weather.

I always carry out a thorough pre assessment to ensure we are a good match and to make sure I have all the information I need to keep your dog safe. Get in touch for chat.

House & Pet Sitting

I also provide a house sitting service, staying with your dog overnight in their own home for any length of time required. I have found with experience that sitting this way helps reduce stress levels your loved one as it is in its own environment rather than going to a new home with new people to get used to.

I can do short trips or with notice - longer stays, looking after your loved one and home at the same time.

I am fully DBS checked and am happy to provide references from other clients who have already used this service.

Cat Care

Another service from Walkies & Woofs - Cat Care. There aren't many cats that enjoy a long drive and stay in a cattery. In fact, most cats are happiest when they are at home, with familiar surroundings, sights and smells.

Cat care allows your cat to stay at home whilst I make regular visits, feeding, playing and giving them the love and attention they deserve.

I am fully DBS checked and will agree the time and number of visits you require, giving you peace of mind, along with regular updates, photos and videos.

'Put my mind at ease'

Karen is possibly the nicest human in the world! She helped us out very last minute, and still made sure that we were in a position to feel secure and comfortable with having her in our home. Our cat is an aloof little thing, despite this, Karen was able to send pictures when she could which really put my mind at ease and the communication was outstanding.
